Films: Werewolf: The Devil's Hound (2007)

Summary: Get ready for one of the weirdest werewolf tales yet. Or at least, one of the more interesting ones. Either one wouldn't surprise us. But what does is how obscure this is. Must be the budget.

History: Christine Hofferman was a rather monstrous werewolf who's recently become acquainted with a small effects studio. She's the seductive type, and has just got local pyrotechnician Kevin infected with the werewolf curse. It's not quite as severe as her transformation, but it is a threat to everyone he cares about, including his way hotter wife (you've got nothing on her, Christine). Now, it's up to the ragtag group of effects whizzes and a rather amateur werewolf hunter to break the curse, and more importantly, defeat Christine.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: In what might be one of the most WTF werewolf defeats ever, and after Kevin has been cured through his love for his wife, Christina is obliterated by a laser beam from a satellite all the way in space. The last we see of her is her cartoonishly gobsmacked reaction before she's reduced to fireworks. Then a skeptic is abducted by aliens. Yup, this was that kind of movie.

Powers/Abilities: A bite or injury from Christina will turn you into a lesser werewolf.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-The suit is a little too much like an average Halloween costume. But we rarely see it, and most of the time, Christina looks like a burly violent Yeti-looking werewolf. It's a nice look, to be honest.

Trivia: -The animatronics pitted against Christina midway through the film are actually the stars of Synthetic Cinema Studios' previous movies "Predator Island" and "Blood Descendants".

-The werewolf costume, being so burly, was hard to move in, so a running sequence ended up just being a guy in the suit running in place next to a greenscreen.
